ABOUT SPARTAN PEST CONTROL
Spartan Pest Control was started out of necessity.
I saw room to be better and I wasn’t willing to ask another company to raise their standards just to meet mine. The way I approach pest control didn’t fit neatly into someone else’s system, so I built my own.
Most pest control complaints are avoidable. They usually come down to rushing, poor communication, or doing things “because that’s how it’s always been done” instead of with purpose. My approach is simple: take the time to do it right, be thorough, explain what’s being done and why, and focus on results and not minimum requirements. The goal isn’t just to solve a problem, but to deliver the kind of service people confidently recommend to friends and family.
“Doing it right” means clarity from start to finish. You know what’s being treated, when it’s happening, what to expect afterward, and realistic timeframes for results. It also means not cramming as many jobs as possible into a day just to maximize profit. Every service is delivered the way I would expect my own home to be serviced and I’m constantly refining and improving how Spartan Pest Control operates as experience, feedback, and conditions evolve.
EXPERIENCE & APPROACH
I’ll be entering my fifth year in pest control going into 2026, but years alone don’t define quality. I’ve seen seasoned professionals cut corners, and newcomers outperform expectations because they care, listen, and stay humble. I’ve spent countless hours researching products, testing methods, and following up with clients to understand what actually works and not just what looks good on paper.
My primary focus is structural pest control for homes and businesses, covering common household pests. I also specialize in targeted treatments for issues like bed bugs and roaches, with the goal of resolving infestations efficiently in a single, properly executed service when conditions allow. If a second treatment may be necessary, that conversation happens up front. No surprises, no pressure.
I stay small by choice. You can teach anyone what to mix and where to spray, but you can’t teach work ethic, respect for someone’s home, or the mindset required to work toward real results instead of just logging hours. When you schedule service with Spartan Pest Control, you know exactly who’s showing up, every time.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & VALUES
You can expect friendly, professional service from someone who wants to earn your trust, not assume it. Communication matters. You’ll be notified ahead of service, informed if anything needs to be rescheduled, and kept in the loop if issues are noticed, even when they aren’t pest-related. As a one-man operation, I ask for patience as I am not always immediately available but I always respond to messages, emails, and voicemails as soon as I’m able.
I don’t upsell services that won’t provide real value. That’s one reason I avoid offering certain seasonal treatments when I know a property won’t benefit. Standing behind my work matters more than selling something unnecessary.
One of my favorite parts of this job is what I call “restoring faith in pest control.” Many clients come to me after being over-promised and under-delivered elsewhere. Helping them finally get results and peace of mind is what keeps me doing this. Clients should feel relief, confidence, and comfort knowing their money is going toward real value and real results.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I’m a graduate of Maple Valley High School and have been a Charlotte, Michigan resident since 2011. I spent
time living in Lansing, but when my son was born, I wanted him to grow up with the same small-town
experience I had with familiar faces, a sense of community, and room to breathe.
I’m naturally introverted and analytical. I pay attention to details, think things through, and enjoy solving
problems, especially the kind that require patience and observation. When I walk into a new space, I tend to
absorb everything: layout, condition, patterns, and small details others might miss. I’m also a good listener.
Those traits blend together in a way that makes me very effective at whatever I commit myself to.
I’m task-oriented and get real satisfaction from doing things correctly and efficiently. I’ll be honest — it may take me a few meetings to remember someone’s name but I’ll remember every detail about their situation from day one. Precision matters to me.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching my son play sports at Charlotte High School. I’m a creative at heart, whether that means painting, drawing, creative writing, making beats, or playing guitar (mostly bass). I stay active with yoga, exercise, mountain biking, and riding my motorcycle.
Despite what my line of work might suggest, I don’t have anything against bugs or rodents and I’d probably have a spider or rat as a pet if it made sense. Between pesticides and a couple of curious cats, it’s probably best left as a hypothetical. Over the years, I’ve had everything from dogs and cats to ferrets, rabbits, and snakes.
Spartan Pest Control is a true one-man operation and will remain that way. I do struggle differentiating between speaking as myself and as the brand so that's why you may notice and odd mixture of "we" and "I" throughout the pages. I handle all service-related work personally, along with the behind-the-scenes responsibilities like communication, design and graphics, documentation, social media and operations. At some point, my son may help out when he’s older but he has his own path to carve, and I respect that.
My goal is simple: to be the best by consistently doing better. As time goes on, I hope to be in a position to give back to the community, especially when it comes to kids.
